Corporate responsibility
Although touched by many causes, Les Touilleurs concentrates its community involvement on children. Soon after opening, we were approached by Dr. Louise Mathieu-Mills, founder of The Gingerbread Guild, a “non-confessional, apolitical, registered charity pledged to aid accessibility to education for children.” We contribute to the Alphabus project, a multi-media vehicle equipped with internet that serves as a mobile library, pressroom and animation centre for the publication of a magazine written by and for children. To support this worthy initiative, we have decided to concentrate our community involvement budget on this one organisation and give them a substantial amount, recurring every year. www.gingerbreadguild.org |
